Number: MER0003YH0 Do you want to gain practical experience in the automotive industry or do you still have an internship as a degree program? Then you are right with us! Modern vehicle development is characterized by increasingly shorter cycles and increasing complexity. To meet these challenges, digital/virtual methods are increasingly being used. The Virtual Reality Center in Sindelfingen provides methods and methods for creating virtual reality scenarios for the entire vehicle development area. In this case, design models are prepared with realistic surface materials and textures in order to map different applications using these data, such as, for example, product visualizations close to reality or feasibility analyses. Virtual reality has enormous potential for industry and is conquering more and more areas in our group. In order not to neglect mutual exchange, networking and community work in the areas of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) is becoming increasingly important. Your tasks in detail: As part of your internship, you will mainly be entrusted with the task of supporting our team in the (further) development of applications in the field of virtual and augmented reality.

For this purpose, you will develop software packages for existing and new applications and test the associated hardware.

To this end, you will also conduct coordination of voting appointments with our specialist department customers

The activity can begin from March/April 2026.

Course in Engineering, Information Technology, Software Development, Mathematics or a comparable degree programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing
