Together for excellence. In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars Development (RD), we design the automotive generations of the future. We develop innovative products with the highest quality and rely on efficient development processes. We are already working on vehicles that will secure the technology leadership of Mercedes-Benz AG in the future. All software and E/E systems (electricity/electronics) of the MB.OS platform and their functions of the entire vehicle are secured and brought into series in cross-departmental networks. Within the department E/E total vehicle integration we bring together all the systems of the MB.OS platform and integrate them into the entire vehicle. At Mercedes-Benz you work on the next generation of our operating system MB.OS – directly on the entire vehicle. These challenges include: Requirements analysis:

• Reading and understanding of loads & obligations, identifying relevant functions and security aspects

Test case design for the entire vehicle:

• deriving test cases from requirements
• taking into account normal cases, border cases and error scenarios
• Ensure traceability
• Revision of existing test cases

Creation of Testets

• Views of existing test cases
• deriving test packages to different test periods

Support for sprint implementation in the EE system integration at the entire vehicle level

• Documentation of errors
• Documentation of test results
• Accompanying test drives

Support in the preparation and acceptance of vehicles and associated components and measuring devices

Working in the automation of test sequences

• Creating tools / tools

Conducting static tests on the entire vehicle

Working with current projects and support in operational tasks

The activity can begin from the beginning of September 2026.

Mechatronics, Vehicle Systems, Vehicle Technology, Computer Science, ... or a comparable course of study

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS Office

Commitment and team skills

Analytical thinking and strategic working

Enthusiasm for the entire vehicle

Programming skills (e.g. in Python, C#, ...)

Class B driving licence
