IT Solution Architect - Network (m/f/d)

You coordinate the operation of your IT services and IT systems, monitor their availability and performance and process disruptions, system errors and service requests. You plan and implement change requests, develop concepts for patch management and document the IT services and IT systems in the central Configuration Management Database as well as the Knowledge Base. You support the definition and operational implementation of the IT strategy and its roadmap, design modern technologies and develop IT architecture guidelines as well as technical standards. You develop holistic IT security concepts and Operational Technology Security together with the security team, control external business partners and develop proactive service and process improvements through automation and digitalization. You take responsibility for architecture in international network projects, standard rollouts and migrations, guide complex network, security and connectivity projects and participate in the telephone IT infrastructure readiness 24/7.

You have a successfully completed training in the IT environment or a comparable qualification and have at least five years of professional experience in supporting and developing complex, multi-site network infrastructures. You are familiar with the development of network architectures and technical standards for local networks, wireless networks, long-distance networks, routing, switching, virtual private networks and firewalls, and have sound experience with Cisco-based network and security environments. You have deep knowledge of routing, switching, wireless networks, location networking, firewalls, network segmentation and high availability as well as a very good understanding of access controls, security architectures, hardening and administration concepts. You already have first experiences with Zero-Trust Network Access or SASE and actively progress in developing the network. You know about modern IT infrastructures, visualization, cloud technologies and hybrid application landscapes, understand IT processes according to ITIL as well as IT project management according to PRINCE2 or PMP and have experience in the operational management of IT service providers. You can communicate in English and German.
