IT Escalation Manager (m/w/d)

As a primary digitization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, safe and efficient IT services in Germany and abroad, from basic operations to the field close to the application and thus contribute to the continuous increase in the leadership and operational capacity of the Bundeswehr. With over 7,700 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who are convinced that the Bundeswehr-IT will further develop in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. Together with us, you are worried about the future digital capability of the Bundeswehr. Projektmanager (m/w/d) from now on and in full time in Meckenheim, Berlin, Nuremberg or Munich. The Service Management Coordination department takes over the central collection, processing and documentation of Prio 1-Störungen as well as the implementation of the daily BWI-Statuscall. These Prio 1-posts (incl. Major-lncidents) are to be prepared and presented daily for the 'Lage operation IT-SysBw'. In addition, the cross-border coordination (including acquisition, processing, documentation, Lessons Learned and KVP) of critical events and, if necessary, the takeover of the role of the Major lncident-Owner within the shared service delivery and the BWI business units takes place.

Responsibility for escalation management in a service / solution area Direct contact person of the customer and affected BWI business units for highly-priorized disturbances in the area of the Bundeswehr and the own company Take over the role of Major lncident-Owners and the creation of Major lncident's reports and presentations in customer bodies Coordination and implementation of Lessons Learned actions Creating positional contributions in case of disorders in the area of responsibility as part of the daily IT message Support for BWI’s central emergency management

Completed study, ideally with IT reference or comparable qualification At least 4 years of relevant professional experience in IT service management of an IT service or delivery organization Knowledge of IT Service Management and Systems Management Tools Ideally an operational and technical understanding of military IT application and system landscapes in Germany and abroad Good motivation and communication skills combined with an analytical and strategic understanding as well as self-initiative and result orientation German language and writing skills and good English skills
