For our clients, an international and innovative company in the field of automation technology, especially from the fields of servo drives and motors, motion controllers and CNC controls, we are currently looking for an expert (all genders) in the field of CNC machines.

They develop the architecture, design and core functionalities of our CNC system – with a focus on: Railway planning & Interpolation (G0/G1/G2/G3, NURBS, Splines)

Coordinated multi-axis movements (3–5 axes, multi-channel systems)

G-Code interpreter & NC program logic

Realtime scheduling & buffer management

They optimise existing functionalities specifically with the help of international benchmarks (including Siemens SINUMERIK) – focusing on cycle time, dynamics and accuracy.

Together with embedded and servo development teams, you ensure seamless integration in real-time systems (e.g. ARM+RTOS, Linux+RT patches).

You bring your expertise into the roadmap design – e.g. for strategic topics such as High Speed Cutting, Advanced Surface or 5-axis RTCP.

They accompany system tests and commissioning of prototypes – also internationally (e.g. Europe, China).

You can actively share your knowledge with internal developer teams and application engineers – in the form of documentation, coaching and technical exchange.

You have very good German and/or English skills

They have several years of experience in the development of complex CNC core systems – ideally in the SINUMERIK environment.

They bring profound knowledge in the following areas: Railway planning & Interpolation (including splines & NURBS)

Coordinated multi-axis systems (3–5 axes, multi-channel)

NC program logic & G code processing

Realtime Scheduling & Task Management

Buffer Management & Performance Optimization

Experience with embedded systems (ARM, Linux RTOS etc.) and real-time system architectures complete your profile.

They analyze systems with benchmark focus and develop specific technical developments.

Advantage: Experience with 5-axis RTCP, High Speed Cutting or Top Surface

Know-how in servo technology & its connection to CNC systems

Practical experience in simulation & commissioning of prototypes

Documentation strength & knowledge transfer to application teams
