We offer exciting projects at our customers Airbus Operations and we are looking for an employee for the position "Category Buyer (m/w/d) Transport & Logistics Services".

Your tasks:

• Establishing strong relationships with the suppliers and commercial terms and conditions for maximising the value-added for Airbus
• Managing the end-to-end procurement activity for a portfolio of strategic service providers for transport and logistics services including customs, across the Airbus Group
• Supporting and contributing to the deployment of the Airbus Procurement Market Segment Sourcing Strategy for Transport logistics, including associated policies
• Perform market intelligence evaluation in line with the Market Segment Sourcing Strategy
• Support and manage call-for-tenders (CFTs including contract) drafting and commercial violations, to achieve best-in-class purchasing solutions in line with internal customer needs, Company requirements and in compliance with Procurement processes and policies
• Support the Multi-functional and Multi-divisional Teams (MFT/MDT) through the CFT and contract lifecycle phases, especially with respect to service provider performance monitoring and continuous improvements up to claim management, including the lead for commercial settlement
• Establishing, expanding and intensifying long-term relationships with 3PL/4PL transport service providers and logistics service providers to ensure Airbus remains the preferred customer
• Managing the internal stakeholders of Airbus during all phases of the engagement with the service providers, specifically in case of service evolution and during periods of crisis requires especially strong support from and close collaboration with the providers
• Supporting specific projects to advance strategic roadmaps of Airbus in the field of sustainability, supply chain resilience competitiveness, digitalization and innovation

Your profile:

• Completed studies in the field of business administration, supply chain, Economics or a comparable qualification
• More than 4 years of professional experience in the field of Procurement, logistics, Supplier management and contract management
• Basic knowledge of Project Management
• Knowledge in Google Workspace
• Fluent in English
• German and French are an advantage
