Technical employee (cryotechnology and sample preparation) – process responsibility (m/f/d)
Research for a society in change: This is our drive at the Jülich Research Centre. As a member of the Helmholtz Association, we are presenting great social challenges of our time and exploring options for the digitalisated society, a climate-saving energy system and related services. Work together with some 7,600 colleagues: in one of the largest research centres in Europe and shape the change with us! The JARA Institute for Quantum Information (PGI-11) under the leadership of Hendrik Bluhm conducts theoretical research into many aspects of quantum computing and experimental research on semiconductor qubits. The Institute's Department consists of two parts located at the locations of Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH and RWTH Aachen University and working as part of the Jülich Aachen Research Alliance (JARA). In the field of semiconductor qubits, the development and validation of advanced architecture based on coherent long-range cross-transport is currently one of our most important activities. For this purpose, we pursue a holistic approach that includes material challenges, device simulation, production, systematic characterization, Qubit measurements as well as integration and scaling technologies. Our long-term goal is a fully integrated semiconductor processor with integrated low-temperature electronics to enable scaling to millions of qubits. Strengthen our team as soon as possible Technical:r Staff:in (Kryotechnik und Sample Preparation) – Process Responsibility (w/m/d)
