Your role in ZEISS Digital Innovation As a requirements engineer, you are responsible for the identification, documentation and management of requirements in our software development projects. Through your methodological knowledge, you will ensure effective demand management and provide your well-founded knowledge of manufacturing processes in the areas of special machine construction, semiconductors and automotive. You include all relevant stakeholders and are an integral part of our agile development teams. Together, you successfully implement innovative software solutions in practice.

Your tasks include: Close cooperation with Product Owner Self-building the requirement management in the projects you are responsible for as a Requirements Engineer Moderation and intensive coordination with all relevant stakeholders to identify, consolidate and document specific and detailed requirements Creating clear and precise specifications that include both Use Cases and User Stories combined with the continuous maintenance of the Backlog Close cooperation with the development team to ensure that requirements are correctly understood and implemented Responsible for carrying out verification and validation activities

You also have the following profile: Deep knowledge and experience in requirements management, in particular in the methods for collecting and consolidating requirements and their formulation and documentation Embossed understanding and hands-on experience in digitalization projects in production as well as in the topics Industry 4.0/IIoT, factory and process planning, special machine construction and quality management Knowledge of the OPC UA Standard Project-based experience in the development of individual software in the production environment and knowledge in the design, planning and implementation of data-driven software applications in the production environment Certification according to IREB (CPRE) or comparable Used tools for backlog management (Microsoft Azure DevOps, Atlassian JIRA) and Microsoft Office Knowledge in at least one modelling language (UML, BPMN, EPK) and experience in the application of agile methods (User Storys, Story Maps, SCRUM) Impressed communication skills, readiness and active approach to work in new topics at short notice, as well as an independent way of working Excellent mastery of the German language and safely usable English readiness to travel
