With more than 3,600 employees, the Samariter Foundation is responsible for around 9,000 people in nine counties in Württemberg. Of these, around 6,500 people live in the nursing homes and nursing WGs of the Foundation, spend the day in day care or are nursed by the outpatient services ''SAMARITER Mobil' at home. More than 2,000 people with disabilities or mental illness use the Foundation's assistance services, for example, in the areas of housing, workshops, support groups, daylinks and daycare facilities. The samariter foundation also operates two hospizes. The 117 houses, facilities and services of the Foundation are located in the regions Böblingen, Esslingen, Göppingen, Heidenheim, Ostalb, Reutlingen, Schwäbisch Hall, Stuttgart and Tübingen. The main administration of the Samaritan Foundation is in Nürtingen.
