In our specialist clinic for oncology and lymphology, we do a great deal for the health of our patients every day. In order for parents to concentrate entirely on their rehabilitation and thus on their recovery, we offer their children a place full of security in our hospital care “Schatzinsel”. As our long-term leadership will soon retire well-deserved, we will look for you as soon as possible: Senior Consultant (m/w/d) Full-time, unlimited – in Bad Tabarz near Gotha Why this task is special: If a parent is seriously ill, the world of a child changes from today to tomorrow. The children in our care often experience a busy time in the family circle. In the “Schatzinsel” we give these children support and joy during the 3-4-week Reha period of the parent. This is not only about care, but about moments of discomfort, real heart work. You lovingly accompany the children through an emotionally challenging time and strengthen them for everyday life with the disease. Organisation, control and continuous development of the workflows of childcare in our 'Schatzinsel'' Ensuring age-appropriate, safe and development-promoting care of rehab children (approximately 3–12 years) Active support and motivation of the care team as part of daily childcare in the Treasure Island Technical instructions Creation, maintenance and control of service and holiday plans taking into account the Care needs Coordination of care times in coordination with patient therapy plans Preparation of evaluations and reports for the clinic management Implementation, compliance and control of quality and hygiene standards according to hospital requirements

Dec. Education as a state-recognized educator / state-recognized educator mandatory Training for 'leading and teamwork in daycare facilities for children' or for ''Qualicified Kita Guide'' Alternatively: completed studies of childhood education, social work, social education, Education, education and training as a specialist in education, kita management or similar Min. 2 to 3 years of experience in the learned profession, ideally desired in a kita or in a kindergarten High empathy and friendly appearance as well as the ability to quickly build bonds to children in exceptional situations.
