We are looking for two full-time (39.83 hours/week = 100 %) at the next possible time Electricians In the department 5.I building management and operation, the area “Technical building management” is approx. 150 employees responsible for the entire technical infrastructure of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum with regard to the maintenance of all building facilities. For the Department of Maintenance Electrical Engineering, two service-oriented employees are sought, which together with a dedicated team support or guarantee the continuous operational reliability of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum for teaching and research within the scope of their tasks.

Maintenance, inspection and repair work on safety equipment and plant parts of the energy distribution systems, battery systems, ventilation systems, heating systems, laboratories, workshops and auditoriums Knowledge and application of the following regulations and guidelines in the fields of DIN-VDE and BGV-UVV Personal contact care to the users, the departments of the Ruhr University Bochum and the BLB Implementation of switching measures in the low-voltage network of the Ruhr-Universität Bochum Accompanying work with extensive renovation and modernisation measures within the TGA

Successfully completed vocational training as an electrician/in the field of energy and building technology or electronics technician/in the field of industrial engineering, professional experience in the profession studied explicitly desired Knowledge in the areas of TGA (building installation, building automation, protective circuits and the handling of the associated software) Embossed technical expertise for old/new installations Communication and team skills as well as customer orientation Willingness to continue professional development Computer identifiers in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Ideally knowledge of EIB/KNX, PV systems and safety lighting Driving licence and vehicle as part of the readiness to call
