General legal advice and commercial leases Advising employees of the Asset Management, Maintenance and Technology, Accounting and Transaction Management departments in all legal issues related to the acquisition, management, rental and sale of the real estate and property stock Legal support and advice on commercial leases, in particular the creation, testing and negotiation of lease, supplementary and other usage contracts Monitoring of rental processes as well as support in rental changes, contract failures and out-of-court enforcement or Protection of claims Insolvency and immovable contracts Insolvency proceedings on the rent side, in particular claims notification and verification, coordination with insolvency administrators and deriving recommendations for the specialist departments Creation, testing and legal support of property-related service contracts, in particular property management, facility management, maintenance and maintenance contracts Adjacent legal areas, building law and transactions Legal assessment of property-related issues in adjacent legal areas, such as property rights (e.g. usability), neighbouring law, public-law issues and interfaces to building law Support in the prosecution and out-of-court enforcement of building and contract claims, in particular warranty claims Legal support in transactions and in existing measures, including due diligence checks, documentation, risk assessments and implementation of legal requirements External consultants, standards and knowledge transfer Control and coordination of external legal advisers, including mandate, quality and cost control, as well as selection and commissioning Development and maintenance of practical standards, patterns and checklists as well as knowledge management for internal teams Conception, organisation and implementation of legal training for employees of the Departments of Technology, Asset Management and Property Management

Completed legal studies (at least 1st State Exam); the 2nd State Exam is desirable, but not necessarily necessary Good to very good knowledge in commercial rental law Knowledge of property law as well as public and/or private building law is advantageous Impressed economic understanding, pragmatic advice and negotiation security Structured, independent functioning as well as team skills and communication strength Very good knowledge of German in word and writing English knowledge is advantageous
