The Plant Refurbishment Division of the Regional Refurbishment North is responsible for the planning and implementation of reconstruction, land-release and infrastructure measures as well as water-law projects, thereby creating the conditions for a sustainable railway infrastructure. Your tasks:

You take over the management of reconstruction, land-release and re-use projects for buildings, track systems and other infrastructures from planning to acceptance You control technical planning, prepare tender documents, accompany awards and coordinate cooperation with planning offices, architectural offices, construction companies and other project participants You are responsible for obtaining necessary authorisations and you are voting with authorities and specialised bodies on topics such as rail law, conservation of monuments and species, including necessary compensatory and relocation measures Within the framework of reconstruction projects, you evaluate building materials and pollution, develop waste management and recovery concepts and accompany their implementation To ensure a successful project history, you control dates, costs, quality and risks, perform target-actual comparisons and initiate appropriate measures in case of deviations Together with internal and external partners, you accompany construction and reconstruction measures on site, take over tasks of construction monitoring and ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements In addition, you are responsible for the project documentation, auditing and follow-up management and for transparent project execution to clients and stakeholders

Your profile:

You have completed your studies as a civil engineer:in, environmental engineer:in or comparable discipline Ideally, you have experience in the development of construction, infrastructure, reconstruction or reuse projects and know the requirements of different project phases from planning to execution You were able to acquire knowledge of the control of construction measures and in approval, procurement, pollutant or disposal processes; Experiences in dealing with existing buildings as well as with conservation topics You work independently and structured, keeps your eye on dates, costs and quality goals for parallel projects and meet sound decisions For cooperation with authorities, planning offices, construction companies and internal contact persons, you are convinced by communication strength, ability to vote and a safe occurrence You're sure to deal with MS Office; Knowledge of SAP and iTWO are advantageous In addition, you are responsible for the project documentation, auditing and follow-up management and for transparent project execution to clients and stakeholders To support your projects on site, you will be able to travel within northern Germany as well as a class B driving licence
