Global Logistics & Freight Manager (m/f/d)

The global logistics strategy and standardization is your responsibility - you define and harmonise global logistics processes, standards and governance structures. You will ensure consistent implementation across all regions - taking into account the local features and thus develop our group-wide freight and logistics network strategically. You control and develop our international transport and storage service providers (3PL), carry out tenders, evaluate carrier and logistics partners and optimierst contract structures. You analyze and optimize logistics processes along the entire supply chain, design and validate material flows based on modern methods. You evaluate and implement digital technologies and smart-logistics-use-cases, develop requirements for TMS, WMS and other SCM systems.

You have a degree in logistics, supply chain management, production planning, economic engineering or business management or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of experience in global logistics, transport management or supply chain, as well as well as well-founded practical experience in managing 3PL service providers and international transport networks. You are characterized by high IT affinity and interest in digitalization, automation and industry 4.0 solutions as well as very good knowledge in TMS, WMS and ERP systems. You show a high level of implementation and a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working. Your communication strength and enforcing ability as well as your very good knowledge of German and English complete your profile.
