(Senior) Data Engineer - Azure Databricks / Lakehouse (m/f/d)

You develop, operate and optimize data pipelines on Microsoft Azure, in particular with Azure Databricks (Spark) You continue to build our Data Shop architecture - performant, scalable and future-proof You design and implement automated ETL/ELT processes (including monitoring, logging, fault handling) You integrate data from different source systems, transform them and provide them for analytics, BI and data science You work on data models (e.g. Kimball, Data Vault) and help translate technical requirements into robust structures You ensure data quality, consistency and security throughout the data life cycle You work closely with Data Scientists, Analysts, Departments and IT - agile, pragmatic and solution-oriented You actively contribute to architectural and technology decisions and to the further development of our data strategy

Your Completed studies (e.g. (economic) informatics, mathematics, natural sciences) or a comparable qualification Multiannual experience in data engineering, ideally in cloud environments (Azure) Very good knowledge of Azure Databricks, Spark and Python or Scala Experience with modern ETL/ELT concepts, data integration and the productive operation of data pipelines Knowledge in data modelling (e.g. Kimball, Data Vault) and in dealing with relational & non-relational databases You think structured, work independently and have a good sense of quality and wartability Very good German and good English skills
