AI Officer (m/f/d)

As a central organizational contact person, you are responsible for the strategic and operational support of the introduction and use of artificial intelligence in the AfS, taking into account legal, organisational and technical conditions. You have the following tasks: Identification, assessment and prioritization of applications Artificial intelligence in statistics production, administration, data analysis and internal processes Control and support of AI pilot projects and introduction of productive AI applications In-house consulting on potentials, risks and possible applications of AI systems Building and developing governance structures for the responsible and legally compliant use of AI Observing technological developments, regulatory requirements and trends in the AI business model innovations Support in procurement and evaluation of AI-based software solutions Development and implementation of a strategic training and awareness-raising strategy to promote the AI competence of employees Further development of existing formats for knowledge transfer and exchange of experiences on the use of AI in the AfS Identification of future skills requirements in the field of AI and derivation of appropriate development measures

Formal condition: You have completed scientific higher education (Master, Uni-Diplom) preferably in the field of economic informatics or Public management or equivalent skills and experiences. The following criteria are also of particular importance for a successful application: Detectable knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence, machine learning or data management Knowledge of modern data and IT architectures as well as digital administrative processes Ability to assess technical, organisational and legal risks of AI systems Knowledge of current regulatory developments in the field of AI, in particular the EU AI Act, is desirable Knowledge of data protection requirements (GDPR) as well as about the basic IT standards of BSI and IT security in general Experience in project or change management Outstanding knowledge in collaborative work, preferably by confluence and jira Very good German knowledge of Word and Writing (C1) Personality: A high degree of initiative, sense of responsibility and a structured and solution-oriented way of working are expected.
