Number: MER0003UUM Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality (MP) introduces: The MP division is responsible for an annual purchase volume in the double-digit billion range and ensures the quality of the corresponding components. In partnership with around 1,500 suppliers in Germany and abroad, the necessary materials are provided for the worldwide production plants of Mercedes-Benz Cars/Vans. Locations in Germany, South Africa, China, India, Mexico and Argentina ensure close proximity to production. New challenges exist in the areas of digitalization and automation. We, the Center MP/B, contribute directly to the entrepreneurial success by purchasing and quality assurance of raw materials and body sizes. In addition, we ensure the supply of all plants through intensive supplier capacity and risk management. In our central function, we control and support the strategic orientation of MP as well as the achievement of the operating result. With the optimization of processes, methods and systems, we generate efficiency contributions. These challenges include: Active participation in various projects in the context of process and system design in purchasing Participation in the (further) development of processes and methods depicted in the purchasing system and coordination with cross-functional area representatives taking into account the strategic direction of impact in purchasing and strategic IT construction Developing new ideas and concepts to improve the efficiency and networking of purchasing processes and systems Support in change management for purchasing for more efficient coordination and implementation of adjustments Development and preparation of presentation tasks for top management Responsible implementation of special topics in the team and/or department

The activity can begin from March 2026.

Programme in the field of BWL, Economics or a comparable degree programme Practical experience with the creation of presentation documents of advantage Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Engagement, reliability and team capability Analytical thinking and strategic working Contact and convincing skills Enthusiasm for new topics
