Kaufer / Buyer Private Label Dairy Products (m/f/d)

Design the natural world of the white line with us – from classic butter to high-quality plant margarine to innovative fats for the diverse daily use. As a buyer: for our own brand dairy products, you actively shape our assortment, assume responsibility from the first day and continuously develop products and processes.

Your duties

• Responsibility for the purchase and further development of the own brand range of dairy products
• Accompanying the entire product development process – from idea to market launch
• Continuous exchange with our own dairy for strategic orientation
• Trend and Idea Scouting as well as product development in cooperation with suppliers and quality assurance
• Conducting contract negotiations (price, delivery conditions etc.)
• Design of packaging designs together with marketing
• Analysis of assortment, market and competition to derive new potentials as well as the development of assortment strategies in the areas to be responsible
• Presentation of your products and negotiation successes in meetings with the EDEKA regional companies and net brand discount

Your profile

• Passion for food and ideally touch points with the white line, especially dairy products
• At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in purchasing (own brand), product management, supply chain or a comparable area
• First experience in project management (promote themes & reporten)
• Understanding raw materials, goods flows and different packaging materials
• Embossed figures
• Trend, innovation and detail oriented
• Enforcement & structured
• Dynamic operation in a moving market
• Very good knowledge of German and English (min. C1)
• Secure handling of MS Office, especially Excel
