System Administrator (m/w/d)

Your job – stable systems, smart solutions As a system administratorin you are responsible for the operation and further development of our IT infrastructure: Controlled infrastructure: You install, operate and maintain virtual environments (focus VMware) as well as server and storage systems. Ensure operation: You monitor and manage our IT environment (including Citrix / Terminal Server) to ensure a stable operation. Designing projects actively: You contribute to the planning and implementation of IT projects and advance improvements. Troubleshooting: You analyze problems in the network and server infrastructure, correct errors structured and support users in a solution-oriented manner. Documentation in view: You first and care for operating, process and system documentation. Support: You support in the Helpdesk and are contact personin for internal IT requests.

A completed study in the IT field, a comparable qualification or multiannual experience as a system administrator*in (also welcome cross-comers with well-founded practice) Multiannual experience with complex IT system landscapes (virtualization, server, storage, backup, network) of advantage Knowledge of central IT topics such as Active Directory, Backup, Monitoring and User Management (or the willingness to work on these topics) Ideally first experience in IT projects Advantages are knowledge in individual areas such as team telephony, Veeam, IT security or Microsoft Azure Very good German and good English skills Structured independent working and self-initiative Communication strength, team spirit and the ability to keep track even in stressful situations.
