Head of Principles and Quality of Social Work (m/w/d)

We are looking for the Office for Social Affairs and Participation of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied without delay. The Department of Social Work combines various social services, such as counselling for refugees, elderly and needy people, people with refugee history from Ukraine, protection and advice for women and children affected by violence. It also includes the care authority and the areas of social engagement and quarters. The field of basic questions and quality of social work is responsible for cross-sectional tasks to support the entire department.

They run a newly established subject area of “basic questions and quality of social work” with at the beginning three to four employees They are responsible for the methodological and technical foundations and the quality development of social work in the Department of Social Work; this includes the planning of internal qualification measures, knowledge management and expert advice and reflection of complex and crisis-like individual cases in all areas of the department, you will process basic requests and promote the quality of work in projects and specialist events They process organisational and professional tasks and inquiries to the department management on a daily basis and create municipal council reserves, opinions and other technical documents, including application and project planning of public funding programmes You work closely with the department management They thus have central tasks in all processes of cross-action and cross-departmental cooperation and agile cooperation in times of crisis and in change processes in the Office for Social Affairs and Participation A change or addition of the task area is reserved

completed academic studies (master degree or university degree) of social work, education or social sciences. This should be at least one of the academic degrees, bachelor or master, in which field of social work has been acquired It is also possible to apply to persons with a diploma and state recognition in social work or social education (FH) if work experience is demonstrated in quality-assurance or specialist-advising activities and an additional consultancy training.
