Legal Officer (a*)

Hamburger Energienetz GmbH is a privately organised energy distribution network operator owned by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Due to the merger of electricity grid Hamburg and gas grid Hamburg in September 2024, Hamburger Energienetz GmbH is Hamburg's largest energy distribution network computing company.

Advise the management and all business sectors on legal matters in all areas of law relevant to the Hamburg energy networks, with the exception of labour and tax law, with a focus on energy law Legal support for projects Develop and present legal solutions and their assessment Testing, designing and negotiating contracts of any kind Taxes on judicial proceedings and communication with external lawyers (a*) Observe and evaluate relevant developments in case law, legislation and administrative practice

Graduate degree in law (2nd State Exam) Ideally relevant professional experience Knowledge of Energy Economic Law Interest in energy policy and innovative legal issues Ability to visually and comprehensiblely present legal assessments High level of independent work as well as organisational, communication and team skills
