Number: MER00040LZ In the Mercedes-Benz Technology Center, the research and development departments design future automotive generations. In the development department (RD/EIP), exhaust gas purification concepts for petrol engines are developed. These include basic investigations on the design, determination of catalyst/filter concepts and protection for life time (stability). These tasks come to you: Planning and carrying out investigations on novel exhaust gas concepts at the highly dynamic engine test stand and in the vehicle Working up, interpretation and documentation of the emission results obtained Development of exhaust gas concepts with regard to NOx, CO, THC conversion and the avoidance of by-products Investigation of various influencing factors on the oxygen storage capacity of three-way catalysts Hardware management for the investigations

Course in Process Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Technology or a comparable degree course Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing Safe handling of MS Office Knowledge of exhaust gas aftertreatment is desirable knowledge of internal combustion engines of advantage Commitment Teamplayer*in with organizational talent Interest in technical, chemical and physical processes and fun in practical work Analytical thinking and strategic working driving licence class B Additional information: We are looking forward to your online application with CV, lettering, certificates, current enrollment certificate with an indication of the semester and proof of the regular study period.
