Product Compliance Manager / Regulatory Affairs Manager Sustainability (m/f/d)

Regulatory monitoring. In your role, you are responsible for the continuous monitoring of sustainability requirements for our product portfolio. You make sure that regulatory developments are recognised early and translated with regard to their relevance. Whether EmpCO, PPWR, EUDR, FSC or Blue Angel – you have a thorough overview of current laws, standards and certifications in the field of sustainability. Assessment of requirements. You analyze new or adapted regulatory requirements and legislation and evaluate their impact on the Storch-Ciret Group product portfolio. In doing so, you transfer these requirements into a system, for example, along risk, implementation effort or commodity families, and create the basis for sound follow-up decisions. Sustainability standards & certifications. You evaluate the relevance of sustainability certifications for the group of companies and check the required requirements. In addition, you accompany audits and ensure that processes and proofs meet the applicable requirements. Voting & Priority. Together with national and international stakeholders, including location managers, you agree to regulatory impacts and country-specific differences. Based on this, you define the implementation priorities relevant to the Storch-Ciret Group and ensure consistent, risk-oriented prioritisation across country boundaries. Action planning. Based on your assessment, systematisation and prioritization, you are taking concrete measures and tuning them with the relevant departments, including product management, marketing, purchasing, production. You translate regulatory requirements into binding action packages. Project management & implementation. As project manager (m⁠/⁠w⁠/⁠d), you define milestones and activities in group-wide projects, coordinate cross-departmental cooperation and respond to the timely implementation of regulatory and sustainability-related requirements.

First of all your personality: You think analytically, structured and keep an overview of complex regulatory issues. You work independently, meet informed decisions and understand how to bring together different perspectives. You have completed your studies, e.g. in the field of economics or environmental sciences, law, sustainability management, engineering, economic chemistry, industrial engineering, or comparable vocational training with a corresponding additional qualification. You have several years of professional experience (3-5 years) in the field of Product Compliance, Regulatory Affairs or Sustainability and have experience in dealing with regulatory requirements at national and international level. Ideally, you already know requirements, laws, standards and certifications in the field of sustainability from your professional environment. You have a very high understanding of text and abstraction in dealing with legislation (national laws, EU directives / regulations and specialist readings) and are sure to deal with interpretation spaces, blurs and open questions. You have a high transfer and translation competence between regulatory requirements and product-related consequences and can break down legal requirements in a structured manner on product families, products and countries. You have experience in managing cross-departmental projects and are sure to move in the coordination of different disciplines. You are looking for binding, solution-oriented and with a clear focus on implementation. You have a secure handling of MS Office, in particular for structured analysis, documentation and processing of complex content. Very good knowledge of German and English complete your profile.
