The nursing director at the University Hospital Jena is looking for a nursing specialist (m/w/d) for the child and youth psychiatry at the next possible time.

They are part of a specialized institution focused on the treatment of mental illnesses in children and adolescents. This allows you to develop professionally and expand your expertise in a highly specialized area. Your role:

• They are responsible for the nursing care of children and adolescents in a stationary treatment, especially in mental illnesses and psychosocial stress.
• They work closely with doctors / doctors, psychologists / psychologists, social workers / social workers / therapists and assist in carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic measures
• They accompany the young patients in their daily lives, promote their self-sufficiency and stability, and help them as a trusting contact person
• They conduct nursing documentation and report regularly on the course of treatment and the needs of patients/patients
• They also work with their relatives, advise and support them in addressing the challenges facing mental illnesses

Your profile:

• completed training as a nurse / nursing teacher, nursing professional / nursing professional, nursing care professional, nursing care or health care and nursing care / health care and nursing care, nurse / nursing caregiver or health care and children's caregiver / health care and children's caregiver, nurse / nurse or completed university studies in a dual bachelor's course
• ideally experience in the field of child and youth psychiatry or psychosocial care of children and young people
• Sensitivity and patience in dealing with young patients / patients
• Ability to interdisciplinary cooperation and communication strength
• a high level of responsibility, team skills and flexibility
• Willingness to change layer as well as continuous training and personal development
