Broadband Planning Engineer

Independent development of active network design and security and management systems Coordination and control of external planners Participation in building critical areas and ensuring quality standards Responsible development of the broadband network in terms of capacity and customer growth Strategic adaptation to future-oriented requirements such as open access and public Wi-Fi Monitoring and management of active network components and critical system services Planning and implementation of central maintenance measures including documentation and reporting

Professional degree: Completed degree to:the Diplom-Ingenieur:in or Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Technology or Information Technology or detectable equivalent skills and knowledge

Additional qualification:Guide type B

Required expertise: knowledge of planning, construction and operation of broadband networks Professional experience in network operation Safe handling of products from common manufacturers (e.g. Cisco, Juniper) Experience in the operation of IP routers, MPLS and access systems (e.g. AON, PON), BNG and associated routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS/SR) Knowledge of procurement law and project management Good knowledge of current MS Office applications
