Senior Physician as Head of the Cardiology Section (m/f/d)

The Klinikverbund Südwest is one of the largest and most efficient municipal hospital associations in Baden-Württemberg and has more than 1,500 planned beds. Our approximately 6,000 employees: in six locations, nearly 75,000 patients are provided annually: in stationary and more than 300,000 outpatients. We are currently planning future-oriented new clinics and modernizations, including forward-looking intersectoral campus structures, with investments of around 800 million euros in the counties of Böblingen and Calw and implement our joint medical concept in 2030. For the Department of Internal Medicine at the Hospital Leonberg, we are looking for a Senior Physician (m/w/d) as a Section Director of Cardiology. In our clinic for internal medicine, we treat patients with general in-house and gastronomic diseases as well as patients with acute or chronic diseases of the heart, blood circulation and lungs. The internalist clinic consists of 75 beds and has the following diagnostic options: EKG, ergometry, LZ-EKG, LZ-RR, spirometry, echocardiography, transösophageal echocardiography including the cardiological care of our patients: 3D echocardiography (Philips Epiq CVx) and the programming devices for pacemaker and ICD control. For the adequate care of critically ill patients, the Health House Leonberg has an interdisciplinary intensive care unit with a total of 12 beds, in which the patients are supervised in a specialist manner. For invasive cardiological diagnostics there is close cooperation with the cardiology Sindelfingen. We also provide intensive, professional exchanges with colleagues from the other cardiological clinics in the Klinikverbund Südwest. .
