Risk Engineer – Process Engineering

Completed engineering studies, ideally at master or doctoral level, preferably in process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field At least 7 years of professional experience with large-scale chemical, petrochemical, steel, cement or comparable industries – as an alternative relevant experience as a risk engineer in the insurance industry with a focus on process or heavy industry Knowledge gained in the operation, maintenance and technical evaluation of process equipment Good understanding of international safety and industrial standards International experience and joy in cooperation with different cultures and disciplines Curiosity and fundamental interest in digital developments, including artificial intelligence and their application in risk engineering Embossed customer orientation, consulting skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and addressably High self-motivation, very good communication and team skills as well as an independent and structured way of working Very good English skills, at least level C1; other foreign language skills are advantageous No one is perfect and not all career paths are straight.
