The location is located in the Klinische Systeme team of the Center for Information and Communication (ZIK) and reports directly to the team management. The application manager is responsible for the stable, safe and efficient operation of the clinical systems and specialist applications and the associated processes associated with their competence. It ensures continuous and demand-oriented further development – taking into account legal requirements, technological innovations and technical requirements. In addition, the activity includes the control and participation of projects that ensure the performance, efficiency and sustainability of the supervised clinical systems in the long term.

Operation and supervision of clinical applications and systems as well as control or implementation of appropriate adaptations and further developments Support and monitoring of the associated application and database servers as well as planning, execution and documentation of patches, system updates and/or technical upgrades. Advising and supporting the clinical areas in IT requests, collecting and analyzing requirements and developing optimized process and solution concepts. Close coordination with the IT infrastructure on topics such as system landscapes, interfaces, security and updates. Coordination and control of manufacturers and external service providers, such as maintenance, support, implementation of new modules or release changes. Participation, implementation and management of projects in the field of clinical systems including Documentation, testing, rollout and training. Second-level support for the supervised specialist applications, including fault analysis and troubleshooting in close cooperation with manufacturers and internal specialist departments. Coordination with first-level support, efficient incident processing and a clear escalation and communication structure. Representation within the team as needed and active cooperation on the further development of the application landscape in the field of clinical systems.

studies of medical computer science, medical documentation or comparable qualification (Master); Alternatively, an IT-oriented training with several years of professional experience in IT applications, preferably in healthcare. Interested in technology and IT infrastructure as well as understanding for networks, servers, databases and interfaces. Experience in operation and further development of KIS systems or other clinical applications. Knowledge in the area of data protection and information security is advantageous. Knowledge of process and project management (e.g. ITIL, IPMA, agile methods) is desirable. Experience in cooperation with manufacturers, external service providers and support structures (first/second level). Analytical and conceptual thinking as well as structured, solution-oriented working. Customer and service orientation Team skills and cooperation, especially in interdisciplinary projects with IT, technology, clinic staff and external partners. Enforcement and diplomatic skill in coordinating requirements and solving conflicts. Organisational and negotiation skills
