(Senior) Consultant IT Security (m/f/d)

As part of the “Critical Infrastructure” (KRITIS) in Germany, the requirements for our IT security measures and processes are very high. Compared to other industries, we are increasingly focusing on cyber attacks from Germany and abroad. We meet this strategically and decisively - with a highly motivated, powerful and committed team of SOC Analysts and Security Consultants, which is now being expanded. For the currently 30-member IT Security team, we are looking for a:n Senior Consultant IT Security (m/w/d); If you want to design and take responsibility, we look forward to your application! Your tasks You review security concepts and system architectures and advise the project teams on the technical implementation of the NIS2 and KRITIS requirements. You coordinate security measures to adapt IT components or organizational regulations. You advise End Users:inside, management and colleagues from IT security and specialist areas on issues of IT security and design work. You develop security specifications and standards for the use of technologies in the cloud and on-premise. You will play a key role in shaping our Security Compliance process and bringing you active in the professional development of EDEKA IT. Together with the EDEKA regional companies, you will prepare workshops on various IT Security topics and conduct them.

You have successfully completed a study or training in the IT context or have another relevant qualification and corresponding experience. You have knowledge of current IT security concepts, cloud security and network topologies as well as solid know-how on operating systems (UNIX/Windows), databases, web servers, etc. You have solid practical and user knowledge in the field of relevant standards and regulations in information security (ISO 2700x, KRITIS legislation, NIS2 etc.); appropriate certifications (CISSP, CISM, NIS2-implementer, etc.) are welcome. You can convincingly represent the added value of IT security at all levels and communicate binding, authentic and with a sense of necessary compromises and consensus. You keep the team professionally by sharing your knowledge and knowing what is necessary to always be the decisive step ahead of cyber security. You are ready to travel nationwide within the framework of occasional workshops. You have fluent German skills in word and writing (CEFR level C1 or higher). You have fluent German language skills in word and writing (CEFR level C1 or higher).
