International (Senior) Manager – US Tax Desk (m/f/d)

Advise national and international clients on a broad range of US and international tax matters Interpret and apply international tax provisions Provide estate and gift tax planning services for German individuals with US assets Develop tax-efficient structures involving Passive Foreign Investment Companies (PFICs) and Controlled Foreign Corporations (CFCs) Advise on reorganizations and restructurings involving US multinational corporations and US subsidiaries Conduct tax due diligence for acquisitions involving US subsidiaries Prepare tax memoranda and technical opinions Communicate directly with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on behalf of clients regarding tax audits, notices, information requests, tax elections and other tax-related matters

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or US Tax Attorney Several years of professional experience in a tax advisory firm or within the tax department of an international company In-depth knowledge of US federal tax law Strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of international tax treaties Ability to manage client engagements and project-related tasks efficiently, enzyme and independently Fluency in both English and German High level of flexibility, discretion and commitment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively in an international environment Trusted advisor and reliable point of contact for both clients and colleagues
