Pedagogical specialist for our school distance measure (m/f/d)

What we are talking about in our new debt-intellectual measure is that we accompany children and young people with school-avoiding behaviour and help them to develop new perspectives for school and professional development. On behalf of the Jena Youth Office, we are building an offer at the Jena-Winzerla site, which is intended to support up to 10 young people aged 10-14 with the aim of regaining the joy of learning and finding the connection to school or alternative educational paths.

The offer starts at 01.09.2026 and is understood as an outpatient youth assistance service with a high proportion of education. We understand guilt as a symptom and pursue a holistic approach that focuses on promoting self-confidence and skills. A close cooperation with a stationary residential group moving into the same building is also planned.

From 01.08.2026 we are looking for a pedagogical specialist (m/w/d) to prepare and implement our new debt-intellectual measure. Tasks • Holistic pedagogical support and counselling for young people between 10 and 14 years in our insolvency measure • structuring and accompaniment of everyday life according to the concept of the measure • Stabilisation and promotion of emotional and social competence • Cooperation in the family and help system • Cooperation with the Youth Office, School and Schools • Client: internal management, parental and family work • Quality management and impact-oriented evaluation • Documentation and reporting • Participation in the further development of the concept and quality assurance • Participation in the aid plan procedure according to § 36 SGB VIII

What we are looking for • Completed studies as a social pedagogue:in, educational scientist:in, medical education:in, psychologist:in or comparable qualification • Multiannual professional experience • Sufficient additional qualification desirable • Motivation to work with young people in challenging situations of life • Intercultural competence, creativity, reflectivity and sense of responsibility
