Deutsche Krebshilfe, headquartered in Bonn - one of the most important health organisations in Germany - sees it as its task to combat cancer diseases in all its manifestations. For our “Patient Information” work area in the “Communication” area, we are looking for a reinforcement of our team at the next possible time Projektmanager (m/w/d) (part time 25.0 hours)

Evidence-based science communication: You prepare complex oncological and medical issues on the basis of current scientific evidence in a comprehensible and targeted manner for patients, relatives and the interested public. You take on the editorial responsibility for our patient advisors in print and digital formats. Digital development of patient information: You develop our information offerings conceptually – in particular with regard to digital formats, changed information habits and new user needs. Web-optimized writing, user guidance (User Journey) as well as low-access processing are of course components of modern patient information. Content management and quality assurance: You maintain, structure and update content independently in the CMS (Typo3), integrate multimedia elements and ensure the technical accuracy, topicality and transparency of the sources. Search and Network Care: You independently research current developments in cancer research and medicine, are in exchange with medical experts and represent Deutsche Krebshilfe at scientific congresses and patient information days.

Professional qualifications and experience: You have a degree in science (e.g. medicine, biology, pharmacy, public health) with additional journalistic qualification or comparable training. Multiannual professional experience in medical or scientific communication – ideally in the field of oncology or health-related patient information – will help you. Digital competence and innovation interest: You have profound user knowledge in Typo3 or comparable Enterprise CMS systems and have experience in creating digital, user-oriented health information. Knowledge of the work with Large Language Models (LLM) or a reflected interest in their applications in knowledge communication are advantageous. Language and analytical skills: You are able to prepare complex technical terminology precisely, understandably and empathically without losing scientific knowledge. You work structured, carefully and quality-oriented and have a strong sense of responsibility in dealing with health-relevant information. Personal competence: You work independently and at the same time team-oriented, are flexible, ready to learn and bring interest in the continuous development of evidence-based patient information in the digital environment.
