For our location in Bayreuth we are looking for a mechatronic / electrician / electronic / mechanic or comparable specialists as maintenance technician (m/w/d)!

The maintenance and maintenance team (Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team or RME team) is of fundamental importance for our operation – ensuring that our technical systems and systems work continuously. As a maintenance engineer, you are responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of our technical equipment and production facilities. You help to ensure the highest safety standards in occupational safety and prevent machine downtime. Our technical team ensures high availability of technical equipment and improves the quality of our equipment.

The site includes work in a rotating three-layer system, which can include Saturdays, night shifts and readiness to call. In addition, the logistics network in the region consists of several locations where occasionally support at a nearby location can be required.

A day in the life As a maintenance engineer, you are on site in one of our distribution centers to respond quickly to technical problems. You carry out a number of planned preventive maintenance measures on devices to ensure their safe operation. In addition, you are immediately reaspecting disturbances and failures. You investigate the causes, find solutions as quickly as possible and apply them. You also make suggestions for long-term improvements.

In cooperation with senior colleagues, you perform daily maintenance tasks and communicate with service providers if you need external expertise. You work in rotating layers so that we can support our locations around the clock and ensure that Amazon can continue to deliver at the pace we are known for.

QUALIFICATIONS For this place we expect:

• Complete technical training recognised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) or Chamber of Crafts (HWK). As an alternative, proof of a successfully completed university degree in the field of engineering sciences (machine engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or art related) of a German university or recognized foreign university degrees (BA, B. Sc., MA, M. Sc., Dipl.-Ing.)
• Professional experience in the appropriate craft
• Experience in the maintenance of industrial production plants
• Advanced knowledge of German in word and writing PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS One or more of the following qualifications would be a plus:
• Experience with state-oriented monitoring
• Experience in working with printing and application machines
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of conveyor or automation systems
