Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of automotive product strategies for the German and European markets, integrating cutting-edge technologies search as intelligent connectivity and autonomous driving. Plan product portfolios and iteration roadmaps to ensure strong market competitiveness aligned with demand.
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle—from concept design to end-of-life—including requirements definition, development, mass production, and lifecycle optimization. Coordinate resources between HQ R&D, supply chain, and local teams to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.
  • Formulate pricing strategies and market entry plans, carbon emission regulations and circular economy requirements. Design value-added services (e.g., battery recycling, mobility sharing) to enhance product lifecycle value.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of automotive market trends, user behavior, and competitor dynamics in Germany/Europe. Produce Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) via user research and benchmarking to core functionalities and unique selling points.
  • Ensure full compliance with EU E-Mark certification throughout product development. Coordinate with third-party testing for agencies/component validation and certification progress, addressing audit feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or related fields;
  • 5+ years of product experience in the automotive industry preferred;
  • Strong technical and cross-functional skills: Familiarity with vehicle EE architecture (e.g., domain controllers), IoT platforms, and AI model development processes to facilitate effective collaboration with engineering teams.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and data-driven decision-making. Experience optimizing product features (e.g., charging port layout) via A/B testing to drive user conversion.
  • Project management & leadership: Experience leading complex technical projects (e.g., ADAS development) and coordination cross-time-zone teams (China-Germany) to meet milestones.
  • Native German and fluent English, with ability to independently conduct German user interviews, draft technical documentation, and lead localized meetings.
