As a consultant for commercial valuation (m/w/d), you analyze valuation methods for financial instruments and hedge relationships according to HGB and IFRS, optimize them and take over the associated reporting. For us, you are responsible for the balance sheet mapping of security relationships according to national and international accounting rules, compile analyses and answer senior management ad hoc requests. You agree with Group Treasury, the trading units and other organizational units, contributing to the further development of our reporting systems and interfaces, as well as supporting cross-departmental projects. You communicate with the external auditor and prepare relevant documents. The place is limited until 30.06.2027.

Successful study of economics, business management or a comparable subject Professional practice in the accounting of a financial or insurance undertaking or in a similar function of a consultancy company, ideally focusing on accounting for financial institutions, securities and hedge accounting Understanding the national and international accounting rules with a focus on accounting for derivatives and securities Safe handling of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, also of advantage: routine in systems for mapping financial instruments, such as Murex or SAP BW, and the associated processes Another plus: Understanding the risk management of a bank focusing on treasury and trade and its impact on accounting Very good German in word and writing
