In this position, you operate and optimize data center networks as well as WAN connections, data center and campus networks, routing/switching, VLANs, firewalling, VPN, NAT, network segmentation as well as Cisco Catalyst/Nexus, Fortinet/FortiManager and WatchGuard. You can control external providers safely and in a targeted manner both in the control mode and in the event of a malfunction. In addition, maintain firewalls, VPN solutions and NAT configurations during operation. Control units in the network and security environment are maintained and continuously developed. Technical Security Incidents analyze structured and actively participate in their solution. Network architectures, changes and relevant operating standards document you in a comprehensible and precise manner.

You have successfully completed an education or study with IT focus. Experience in the operation of complex network environments brings you this task. Good knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs and WAN technologies are of course for you. In dealing with firewalls, VPN and NAT, you have proven know-how. You will also have a good understanding of topics related to network security and technical security processes. In cooperation with providers and external partners, you will be safe and binding.
