In our children's groups At the Deich and Werdersee in the SOS Children's Village Bremen we offer children a safe home from six years in a loving family-like environment. In a group of seven (Werdersee) or eight (Am Deich) children we accompany them with individual educational support during growing up. Our dedicated team will help young people around the clock and create stable references that give them continuity and security. Collaboration with parents is particularly important to us to support a return to the parents’ house if possible. If this is not possible, we offer the children a new home in our institution in the long term. If you are happy to accompany children on their way to adult life, we look forward to your application! You have a degree as an educator or a university degree as a social pedagogue ideally you have (first) professional experience in pedagogical work with children and/or in a stationary offer of youth assistance Team Skill and Commitment You have the ability to work independently You can get in touch with children and adolescents well and are also able to deal with conflicts and behavioural vulnerabilities to creative and constructive solutions They have good reflectivity towards their own behaviour and are open to flexible working hours readiness for all-the-clock support incl.
