The SOS-Kinderdorf e.V. is a renowned aid organisation and a free, non-profit institution of child and youth assistance with 38 facilities throughout the federal territory and around 5,200 employees.

In our international commitment, we are one of the most important funding associations in the Federation of SOS-Kinderdorf International and support around 20 key countries in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean as well as in Africa. Head (m/w/d) of the International Programs and International Controlling in permanent employment, full-time (38,5 hours/Where.)

In close cooperation with the Executive Board, they take over the management of the newly created International Programs and International Controlling staff and make a significant contribution to the development, strategic realignment and long-term development of the international commitment of the association. They represent the staff office within the association as well as against the Federation SOS-Kinderdorf International and the respective focus countries. You actively promote internal and external networking. They are responsible for the operational support of the country portfolio and the associated financial controlling. In your leadership, organize and manage team meetings, report regularly to the Executive Board and are responsible for budget planning and forecasts. In addition, you support the development of the team, design the staff structure, taking into account our personal policy principles and develop them further. They accompany and shape change processes and ensure a future-oriented organisational establishment of the staff. This ensures compliance with all relevant requirements in the ongoing transformation process. The preparation and negotiation of contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) is also part of your task as well as the monitoring of safeguarding measures in close cooperation with the Safeguarding and Audit & Compliance departments. As a central interface, you coordinate the flow of information on international developments within the association – in particular with marketing, IT, finance, risk management and contracting.

Complete university studies with economic or legal orientation. Multiannual professional experience in the field of international programs, international controlling or comparable fields. Excellent analytical and conceptual competence as well as well as well-founded expertise and methods. High levels of judgment, especially in the assessment of complex processes and their understandable presentation.
