In July 2016 we opened a new senior institution with 82 seats in Knetzgau. On 5 residential communities with 16 seats, mainly in individual apartments, seniors are supervised under the concept of the home community. As part of this unlimited part-time job (max. 30 hours/week), you are usually employed in the living room on a group of 16 residents in the morning (7.30-13.30 hours). They are responsible for preparing meals, as well as handling orders and purchases. In addition, you are responsible for the storage and goods management, receipt of goods and the implementation of measures to ensure kitchen hygiene (HACCP). In our residential group concept you are contact personin and day designer for the residents. Together with care, they organize everyday life and motivate the inhabitants to participate in the domestic work. They have recognised in our introduction text and could imagine being part of the AWO. To bear responsibility is not a burden for you, but a condition and joy.
