The LVR-Jugendhilfe Rheinland with the facilities in Solingen, Tönisvorst, Remscheid and Euskirchen is a highly differentiated youth aid facility with 351 seats. At the Tönisvorst site, the LVR-Jugendhilfe Rheinland operates a differentiated youth aid facility with stationary, semi-stationary, outpatient and factory educational offers. We offer 89 fully-stationary places in the 14 outdoor groups. §34 SGB VIII for girls and boys aged 6 to 21 years. With our many years of experience and our different care and housing offers, we face the special challenges of youth assistance. The groups are designed as intensive groups with 6 or 7 seats and equipped with a corresponding staff key. This also includes the workshop educational offer at our 6 workshops, aimed at young people with a need for funding. In our youth café (with a total of 2 employees), we offer up to 11 young people the possibility of schooling and vocational training and orientation. This ranges from the receipt of a school degree to the examination for the kitchen and service helper to the training for the specialist kitchen. Training also aims at improving the social competence of young people, which is an essential basis for the placement of young people into the profession or for regular training. For further information on the range of services and the underlying educational priorities, see www.jugendhilfe-rheinland.lvr.de in the heading “Tönisvorst”. The landscape association Rheinland (LVR) works as a municipal association with around 22,000 employees for the 9,8 million people in the Rhineland. With its 41 schools, ten clinics, 20 museums and cultural institutions, four youth aid institutions, the Landesjugendamt and the association for WohnenPlusLife, it performs tasks that are carried out throughout the Rhineland. The LVR is Germany's largest service provider for people with disabilities and is committed to inclusion in all areas of life. “Quality for people” is his guiding principle. The 13 non-circular cities and the twelve counties in the Rhineland as well as the cities region of Aachen are the members of the LVR. At the Rheinland landscape assembly, elected members from the Rhine municipalities shape the work of the association. For more information about the LVR, see www.lvr.de. .
