At the Bergkirchen site we develop and manufacture components, modules as well as devices for generating, transport and measuring light. Our technical sales ensure competent advice and support for our customers. The warehouse at our site is responsible for shipping all Thorlabs products within Europe. Creation, administration and tracking of orders in the ERP system. Ensuring the timely delivery and processing of order confirmations Purchase controlling, including the analysis of procurement processes, cost monitoring and optimization of purchasing strategies Maintaining supplier relations, obtaining and comparing offers and negotiations at prices and conditions Check the supplier invoices for accuracy and compliance with the orders. clarification of inconsistencies in cooperation with accounting and suppliers. Ensuring timely material availability for production by close coordination with purchasing and storage Data management: Maintenance of product and production master data in the ERP system Close cooperation and coordination with the production, storage, quality assurance and accounting departments

(m/w/d) or business studies, ideally focusing on purchasing, controlling or supply chain management and several years of professional experience in purchasing technical components Very good communication skills that distinguishes you with colleagues and suppliers High self-motivation and a structured and independent operation Very good knowledge of ERP systems e.g. D365 and Microsoft Office Very good German and English skills
