IT Operations Lead / Team Leader D&T DACH Region at Frankfurt Airport (m/f/d)

Central interface & leadership: You take full responsibility for daily IT support in the DACH region. You guide, coach and develop your operating IT team (including system administrators and support staff) and act as a central interface between it, the central Digital & Technology team and external service providers. Operational control: You monitor the incident, problem and change management processes according to ITIL-Best-Practices and secure uniform IT standards at the locations. Communication & escalation: You are the main partner for regional business partners and control the communication and escalation between internal teams and external providers. Compliance & Processes: You implement IT operating guidelines, ensure compliance with relevant requirements (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001) and is responsible for precise IT documentation. Vendor Management: You are looking forward to the relationships with service providers and pay attention to compliance with contractual SLAs and KPIs. Project coordination: In IT projects, you will introduce the expertise of your team (e.g. in tests or hardware installations) and coordinate the tasks and schedules. Continuous improvement: You identify optimization potentials, drive automation ahead and recommend new technologies to match the D&T roadmap.

That's what you bring: Education: A successfully completed study in the field of computer science, information technology, management or a comparable qualification or corresponding professional experience. Experience: At least 3 years of well-founded experience in IT, of which at least 1 year in a leading role. Know-how: Deep knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices. Experience in working in international or regional matrix environments (ideally DACH) is advantageous. Competences: Strong analytical skills, pronounced negotiation skills in Vendor management and the ability to prioritize even under pressure. Communication: Excellent communication skills – You can also translate complex technical issues for non-technical audiences clearly and understandably. You also speak German and English fluently. Ready-to-use: willingness to accept readiness for critical IT incidents and openness for occasional travel to other locations or data centers.
