Body/Movement Therapist (m/f/d)

The Central Institute for Mental Health stands for internationally outstanding research and groundbreaking treatment concepts in psychiatry and psychotherapy, child and youth psychiatry, psychosomatics and addiction medicine. The Department of Physiotherapy and Motion Therapy at ZI is a multi-station therapy area. The physiotherapists and sports scientists working there are in the use of adults and children and youth psychiatry and are an integral part of the multi-professional teams. Through exercise, sports, body therapy and medical gymnastics, we help to regenerate or balance physical, psychological and social functions and motivate to a health-oriented behavior even beyond the hospital stay. On 01.04.2026 we are looking for a body/movement therapist (w/m/d).

Share of jobs: 50-100% The body is first terminated for two years with option for further employment.

Conducting body and movement therapy single and group therapies Therapeutic work with adolescent and youthful patients with trauma disorders, dissociative disorders or anorexia nervosa Implementation of sports therapeutic groups Close interdisciplinary cooperation in the multi-professional team Documentation and assessment of the therapeutic processes Participation in case meetings, team meetings and concept development

Complete training or studies in the field of sports therapy, dance and movement therapy, motopädie or comparable qualification Additional training or experience in clinical body therapy Professional experience in the clinical field desirable, ideally in psychiatric or psychosomatic institutions Knowledge of how to deal with eating disorders and dissociative symptoms of advantage Independent, responsible and team-oriented working
