As IT Security Administrator*in (w/m/d), you are responsible for the processing of incidents and service requests concerning the network security infrastructure: you analyze proxy problems, configure SSL exceptions, customize firewall rules and ensure the accessibility of services. You are responsible for the commissioning and configuration of firewall equipment (Fortinet FortiGate): hardware installation in the rack, basic configuration via CL/GUI, location-specific final configuration and connection to the central management (FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer). You maintain and adapt the network infrastructure: set up, modify and troubleshoot WAN-IP addressing, routing, NAT rules and VPN tunnel (IPsec/SSL-VPN). Monitoring and initial analysis of security events using firewall logs and network monitoring tools is also part of your task and escalation in security-relevant incidents. You work in projects with the introduction, migration and extension of security solutions - from technical preparation to implementation. You work with colleagues from network, server and application operation as well as with external service providers.

Successfully completed studies in the field of computer science, IT security, communications technology or completed training as a specialist in system integration - with detectable reference to network technology Funded understanding of network bases: OSI model, TCP/IP, Subnetting, VLAN, DNS, DHCP- You can explain what happens on the individual layers Ability to systematically limit network problems. You will certainly distinguish between a physical, a routing, a DNS and an application problem before escalating Basic understanding of firewall concepts: Policies, NAT, Stateful Inspection, VPN Ready for physical work on hardware: rack mounting, cabling, console access German and English in word and letter for an open handling of international customers
