As a lead developer with us, you design pioneering IT architectures and rely on modern Java technologies as well as microservices to intelligently automate processes. Your passion does not end when code: You have a great view of the whole, control complex technical topics and accompany your teammates as a professional mentor and savings partner. Together as DevOps enthusiasts, we are responsible for the entire life cycle of our software in the cloud to turn manual processes into fully automatic digital services. Technical control and architecture: You develop and build a scalable, future-proof cloud architecture for our digitalization and automation initiatives and design robust connectors in our insurance-specific enterprise architecture Team and theme coordination: You take the technical guidance and control within the squad. You act as a mentor for your colleagues, promote knowledge sharing and coordinate technical topics in the agile squad End-to-End Automation: You develop and optimise intelligent logics to enable customers to be identified and fully automated in the dark - for excellent, barrier-free digital services DevOps and Software Engineering: You develop high performance services with Java and Spring. have a successfully completed study of (economic) informatics, an IT training or a comparable qualification acquired in practice with well-founded relevant professional experience in software development or IT automation has first experience in the (scientific) leadership, coordination or mentoring of developer colleagues as well as the ability to understand complex technical issues have profound knowledge of software development with Java and Spring (Boot), microservices (REST APIs) and ideally experience with frontend technologies (Angular) or Python has practical experience in operating cloud environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform / GCP, Cloud Functions, Terraform) as well as CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab) and strong enthusiasm for process automation see Clean Code as a matter of course and burns for agile workings, has a strong team spirit and has the motivation to digitize manual processes through innovative technology
