Together with the team, you control the further development of IT standards in the portfolio of the IT Planning Council. You evaluate new projects for technical and technical suitability and, together with the stakeholders, prepare draft resolution and implementation templates for new IT standards that are to be applied nationwide. You accompany IT standards from the first idea to the company, advise the actors involved: inside and experiment with new approaches together with partners: inside in the form of Proof of Concepts. You support the coordination of the federal IT standardization board and agree closely with the federal IT architecture management. FITKO is a joint implementation unit of the IT Planning Council. Therefore, if necessary – in accordance with the decisions of the IT Planning Council and its strategic priorities – you also take on cross-disciplinary tasks.

Alternatively, you have a Bachelor, Master or FH degree as well as relevant, detectable skills at master level and at least five years of professional experience in a correspondingly qualified activity. You bring well-founded experience in the design, development or maintenance of IT standards – whether you have collected them in public administration, in the private sector, e.g. in a digital agency or a tech company, does not matter to us. Experience with public administration is of advantage, but no need – more importantly, we are a good understanding of digital contexts. Ideally, you also know yourself in an adjacent field, such as semantic systems, information/data models, API management or IT architecture. You have gained experience in project and request management. Knowledge in modelling languages (e.g. BPMN, ArchiMate) or in monitoring and controlling are a plus, but not a must. You can communicate safely in German (C1) and also get well in English.
