Solar-Planit Software GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of BayWa r.e. AG, develops the same-named Solar-Planit software with a team of currently 15 highly motivated employees. Photovoltaic systems can be planned quickly and comfortably with solar planning. Whether a suitable inverter is to be found for the selected modules or the novotegra assembly system is to be planned - after just a few clicks, Solar-Planit presents the result. The software is used throughout Europe by several thousand users with our sister companies and their customers. Supported by our software, thousands of PV systems have already been implemented.

We are looking for you as a DevOps engineer (m|w|d) (also in parttime from 50%) at our site in Tübingen:

As a DevOps engineer, you help us continuously improve and further automate our software delivery processes You bring experience with cloud and container technologies like Azure, AWS, GCP or Docker You are also familiar with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef or Puppet If you are familiar with terms like GitOps, Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD-Pipelines, you'll be great for us In addition, we look forward to building and optimizing a professional monitoring, including Prometheus and Grafana. The aim is to continuously improve logging, metrics, alerting and monitoring our productive systems We have already migrated from a classic VM landscape to a container-based Azure infrastructure We develop and operate new components directly on this basis – yet there are many exciting tasks for you: evolving security concepts, accelerating deployments, increasing reliability and making our platform more robust overall We are currently working with Bitbucket, Bitbucket pipelines, Jenkins, Azure, Docker, Ansible and Git. Our main application is based on Java EE and a MariaDB. If you want to develop software yourself occasionally, you can easily get involved in projects of our developer teams
