We, the Group Security Germany, are responsible for the operational safety and security consulting of the German locations of Mercedes-Benz AG – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The responsibility of the Group Security Germany extends both to the works and regional support of the subsidiaries within Germany. The safety of the company and its employees is our first priority. Our team of firefighters consists of 38 employees and is responsible for fire protection at the Germersheim plant. These challenges come to you: Service at the factory firefighter in 24 h service

Operational emergency rescue

Disponent*in activity in the deployment center/security center/security center

Co-operation in firefighting workshops

Implementation of maintenance, inspection and repair work on fire-fighting equipment, special vehicles and equipment

Training of employees for fire protection workers

Assessment of fire hazards, e.g. welding work under fire protection aspects/provisions

You bring the following qualifications: Successfully completed training of the middle firefighting service or qualification as a firefighter (IHK)

Qualification as an ambulance worker*in or a higher-quality retiring service

Driving licence Class C

Unrestricted physical fitness and willingness to sustain this in the long term

German language skills, English language skills

Good computer skills

Alternatively, you bring the following requirements: The willingness to acquire the above qualifications

Successfully completed recognised vocational training

Group leader*in qualification FW Service Regulation 2

Respiratory wearer according to FW Service Regulation 7
