Application Manager / Business Application Specialist (m/f/d)

Support, administration and continuous development of our business-critical business applications, in particular the GUS ERP system Ensuring stable, secure and reliable operation of the supervised applications Recording, analysis, documentation and prioritization of professional requirements from the business areas Advising the departments in optimizing and digitizing their processes Translation of technical requirements into feasible technical and organizational solutions Planning, coordination and support of introductory, extension and optimization projects Control and coordination of external software providers, implementation partners and IT service providers Close cooperation with key users as well as production, purchasing, logistics, quality, finance, sales and other business areas Coordination and support in tests, releases, updates, bug analysis and rollouts Organisation and implementation of user training as well as creation and maintenance of application and process documentation Processing and coordination of faults and service requests as part of the application support Monitoring and improving data quality within the supervised applications Support in the definition and implementation of role, authorization and application concepts Building sustainable structures for application, release and change management Participation in cross-departmental digitalisation and process optimization projects

Successfully completed studies of economic informatics, computer science, economic engineering or comparable training or qualification Professional experience in the care, introduction or further development of business applications, in particular ERP systems in the production environment and/or plant engineering Experience in application management, ERP environment, IT project management or in a comparable interface function Good understanding of operational processes and the ability to translate technical requirements into suitable application solutions Experience in cooperation with departments, key users, software providers and external service providers Knowledge in handling ERP systems or comparable overarching enterprise applications Knowledge of GUS ERP is desirable, but no requirement Structured, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation Representative communication, consulting and interface competence Ability to assess requirements, set priorities and coordinate several topics structured Joy in building structures, developing applications and driving changes together with the specialist areas Very good German knowledge and good English skills
