In order to expand and strengthen our team, we are looking for a dedicated IT Consultant Production Printing (m/w/d) in full time As IT Consultant Production Printing, you are the central interface between customers, sales and technology in the field of professional printing and workflow solutions. You accompany projects from analysis, implementation and optimization in ongoing operation.

Advice from customers on IT-supported production pricing solutions and digital workflows Analysis of existing print and output management processes at the customer Planning, configuration and implementation of production pricing systems and associated software solutions Integration of printing systems into existing IT infrastructures and network environments Implementation of installations, tests, updates and system adjustments Technical support for sales in customer appointments, presentations and tenders Training of customers and users in the use of systems, software and workflows Error analysis and solution of technical problems in 2nd level or project-related support Close cooperation with internal specialist departments, manufacturers and external partners Documentation of projects, system landscapes and customer-specific solutions

For this position we are looking for a technically versed, customer-oriented personality, with a good understanding of printing technologies and IT processes. Complete studies in the field of computer science, printing and media technology, business informatics or comparable training Experience in the field of production printing, output management, prepress or digital print workflows Good knowledge of network technology, operating systems and IT infrastructures Experience with print servers, color management, workflow software or RIP systems Understanding interfaces, drivers, PDF workflows and data-based printing processes Embossed customer and service orientation Independent, structured and solution-oriented mode of operation Communication strength as well as safe occurrence in customer contact Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing readiness to travel within Germany
